Agnes, from the moment I saw you, you had my heart. Your silly, smart, beautiful and cantankerous personality brings me more joy than I can describe.

From your wiggle butt to your kissable nose and your loving, cuddling ways to your annoying “talking” for food during dinner - you are perfect.

Eight years ago today, a group of second-year @dc_

Eight years ago today, a group of second-year @dc_publicrelations students made their way to the @CWOFame induction ceremony.

While our group was separated, some got to be seat fillers elsewhere, @olivias.odyssey and I got seated two rows from the stage and just a few steps away from the one and only Mr. @vancityreynolds (pictured here). We were also in the same vicinity as Rachel McAdams and Hayley Wickenheiser, who were also inducted and seated next to RyRy.

But if that wasn't enough, Peter Fonda, The Band, and @theweeknd were seated right behind us.

I will never forget the awe Olivia and I felt when the evening's MC, Jason Priestley, looked in our direction before he got started.

This evening was, by far, one of the most memorable nights of my life!

And Olivia, kudos to us for not completely freaking out about who was seated around us. We did good, kid!

Today was Canadian Thanksgiving and World Mental H

Today was Canadian Thanksgiving and World Mental Health Day. I've been sitting on the fence about posting anything lately, especially today.

I've always been the first to comment or open up about my mental health journey, my diagnoses, how I cope, etc. But given that today is also Thanksgiving, I didn't want to come across as a "downer."

Instead, I wanted to focus and give thanks and gratitude to all the incredible people who have formed my support system over the years, especially this year. Whether you've been in my life for a moment, a season, or a lifetime, in some way, shape or form, you've significantly impacted my life.

Without my support system, the darkest days would have seemed like the end. Without my support system, I wouldn't have been able to find my passion or will to be the best I can be.

When it comes to maintaining my mental health, it takes a village (and medications, of course). However, my friends, family, doctors and therapists have pushed me to see who I am and my worth, what I can be, and why I deserve the space I take up.

Today on Thanksgiving and World Mental Health Day, I'm thankful for you.

Well, well, well, look who's posting again on Inst

Well, well, well, look who's posting again on Instagram.

Honestly, the last few months have been difficult for me mentally and physically. So I needed to step away and just regroup, heal, and grow.

But with September around the corner, I'm looking forward to a fresh start for autumn, which is precisely what I need.

Thank you to my family and friends who have supported me along the way during this difficult time.
