Happy birthday to my littlest baby, Edith (aka Chunky Bum or Pup Cup)! Today, you're six, and I'm just blown away by how silly you can be.

You're brilliant when you want to be, silly when you don't need to be, and stubborn 99% of the time.

I love you to bits. You gave us quite a scare this year, but I'm so happy you're back to your fabulous, loving self.

I only have one request: Please stop sticking your tongue in my mouth when I yawn.

Life update time! Yes, it's been a while since I r

Life update time! Yes, it's been a while since I really gave one of these either here or on the blog (remember that? I still have it and will be getting back to it shortly, I promise).

Anyway, what's been going on in my life? Well, professionally, things are great, especially with the launch of @PRAndLattes. That has been such a fun and exciting project to see come to life.

With AbleDocs, so many exciting things are happening and keeping me on my toes, which is what I love. And, of course, classes are coming back in session at Durham College, so there will be lots going on in my life, professionally speaking.

What about personally? This is where things are interesting but in a good way.

I wanted to share here now that I'm officially on Ozempic. For me, it's not about the weight loss, although that will be a perk because I struggle so much with it. But it's more so to help with insulin-resistant diabetes I have, thanks to my polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

I've talked about my PCOS journey on the blog before; honestly, it's a pain in the ass! So, after a lot of research and multiple conversations with my doctor, as I was initially against this, I decided to take his advice and give this a try.

Why am I sharing this with you? I don't want to pretend or shy away from what's helped me if I lose weight. If I lose weight, know that Ozempic is just a tiny part of this. It also entails healthy eating habits, exercise, and drinking water (not just coffee).

This isn't a quick fix for me. But what sold me on accepting Ozempic was that it could help minimize my PCOS symptoms, which are aggravated by higher weight.

So, here's to the journey ahead. I won't be talking much about whether I lose weight or not because that's not why I'm doing it. But if I start to look different in pictures, now you know why 🙂
