Matisse is a lifestyle blogger who loves dogs, books and delicious food! A native of Oshawa, Ont., Matisse went to Durham College (Go Lords!) for public relations. After graduating in 2015, she began working for a national non-profit organization, which sparked her passion for accessible content. That’s right, she’s made sure Simply Matisse is fully accessible to people of ALL abilities.

In addition to her work at the non-profit, Matisse works as a part-time instructor at her alma mater and runs her own boutique communications agency called Queddo Communications.

When she’s not working, she enjoys looking for hidden gems at flea markets and hunting the aisles of HomeSense for things to spruce up her home.She also loves to listen vinyl records, learning to play instruments, binging on the latest Netflix hit, and cuddling up with a good book. She also spends her time volunteering with the Whitby BIA, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Canada, and YWCA Durham.

You’ll usually find her spending time with her wonderful husband Peter and their two Old English Sheepdogs, Agnes and Edith.
